Graco imonitor Video 2.0 Version

This product basically does what I want - allows me to watch/hear my sleeping child w/o ever having to go into her room to check on her. But I feel it should have much better functionality.

I have the same complaints as many of the others here. The image is kind of crappy; the sound quality is rotten (my 2 yr old usu talks to herself b4 falling asleep, and I cannot understand very much of what she is saying with this thing, and I hate to miss her charming conversations with herself. The older Sony "sound only" monitor I have gives us really crisp audio.) The 2 second delay between "real time" sound and motion and what you get on the display is really annoying to me. And I feel I deserve a longer battery life when the parent unit is fully charged. The CS people at the Graco 800 # told me 4 hours, but that has NOT been my experience. I say 2.5-3, max. The CS person with whom I spoke, BTW, seemed really disinterested in my issues, almost as if she had heard it all a hundred times before . . . I'm sure she has. Buy Graco imonitor Video 2.0 Version!

Graco Sweet Slumber Sound Machine in White

The Graco Sweet Dream Sound Machine is sturdily built easy to use and has more features than I thought possible at this price point. All of the built in sounds are digitally generated and the sound quality is quite good despite it's small speaker size. The womb sounds are really cool and pretty convincing and there are a few different frequencies of white noise to choose from as well as a volume switch. It has a built in LED night light with an independent switch, and it even comes with a few music selections that are reminiscent of an old wind up music box installed on the device. It's mp3 connection is hidden in the swiveling plastic base that seems a bit flimsy compared to the rest of the unit, but it can house a full size iPod if you wish to slip it inside while it is connected. The unit comes with an A/C power adapter or you can use AA batteries if you wish. The outer housing is plastic but the grill area appears to be enamel coated metal, which was a pleasant surprise and makes the unit feel more substantial and sturdy. All of the switches appear to be high quality sealed micro switches and the overall quality is very nice. I am impressed with this unit, and think that the folks at Graco did a fantastic job designing and building this product. It is yet to bee seen if the baby will like it, but I am duly impressed.Buy Graco Sweet Slumber Sound Machine in White!

Graco Quattro Tour Travel System with SnugRide, Marlowe

We purchased this stroller system (in a different color) in 2006. I still love it. The frame is solid, the wheels big and turn easy, folds great and quick set up, not that heavy, and the snugride car seat is a breeze to click in and out. I love the huge basket bellow, and it drops down to make it easy to get things out when stroller seat is reclined or you have the car seat clicked in. It is a bit stiff at first and hard to drop...but the more you use it the easier it gets. And if you live some place that gets freezing temps (we live in Alaska) the plastic viewing window in the canopy can freeze and crack if left outside in the car too long (like overnight). Otherwise this stroller has taken a beating with the extreme temps and done great. Compared to other strollers it is a bit heavy, but that is because of the solid construction. I am 5 foot and do just fine with it. This thing has gone through grass, sand, gravel, dirt, ice, snow, North Carolina heat, and Alaskan winters. Now, it isn't a jog-runner with those cool go anywhere wheels...but this thing can hold its own just fine. We have a Honda Odyssey mini van and it fits just fine in the "trunk" with all 3 rows up with room left over for groceries. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Plus, the car seat is awesome. It clicks in and out of the base to stroller in a flash. Easy to install, easy to clean and has a great safety record. We purchased a second snugride car seat and the quattro tour duo stroller when we had our twins (they are now 5 months old). Buy Graco Quattro Tour Travel System with SnugRide, Marlowe!

Graco 4 Gallon Cool Mist Humidifier

We did some research on-line to find that this type of cool mist humidifier was essential in giving relief to an infant with breathing probblems.
Before it arrived , his parents had been using a pot of hot water on the stove to create humidity in a dry electrically -heated bedroom. This product is not only very safe but effective. Within an hour the baby was breathing
comfortably and everyone was much relieved. The product also shows how much water is still available, and has differet speeds. Thanks Graco!Buy Graco 4 Gallon Cool Mist Humidifier!

Graco IPO Stroller in Navarro

We bought this stroller and could not be more impressed. I bought it over the Evenflo xsport because of the 5 point harness that can also be a 3 point as well...It reclines perfectly, even for my newborn. It is so sturdy and the handles are a perfect height, great for tall men and women alike. I read the reviews about the canopy but these people must not have put it on right. If you put it in the proper place about 1/2 way down, where the fabric has a break in it before it reattaches, fitting the hole on the clip over the rivet it stays on perfectly. Easy to put together. LOVE IT! LOVE IT!Buy Graco IPO Stroller in Navarro!

Graco SnugGlider Swing holds SnugRide Infant Car Seat

I bought the SnugGlider as a baby shower gift and it arrived very promptly from Right Start. I was then contacted by the recipient of the gift and told that the motor did not work. I contacted Right Start who confirmed that they would exchange the item and sent me a UPS label for return of the item. When the family went to return the item for exchange, they discovered from Right Start that 2 days after my enquiry they went into Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The customer service representative was very polite and apologetic, but confirmed that there was no way to exchange the item and no possibility of a refund. Please don't buy from Right Start if it appears by chance as a vendor on Amazon.Buy Graco SnugGlider Swing holds SnugRide Infant Car Seat!

Graco Soft Seat Potty Trainer

My husband and I bought one of these Graco potties at a store months ago for our 2 year old boy. We have used it without the splash guard (as many "experts" recommend) for his comfort and safety--just teaching him to "tuck it" down. The chair is comfortable for him (the seat isn't cold to sit on), and it's easy to clean. But when I went to buy a second one for our second bathroom, I couldn't find it in stores, so I bought another one that I thought would work okay. I took that one home to find that even though boys are pictured "using" it, the seat hole was so small, when my son sat on the potty, his private parts weren't even over the hole. I took it back for a potty with a more oval shaped seat--still too small. So, I realized we would just have to wait for this appropriately "sized for boy's parts" Graco potty to ship from amazon. And even though amazon said it would take at least 4 weeks to ship, we got it within a week. So we're happy.Buy Graco Soft Seat Potty Trainer!

Graco Nasal Clear Nasel Aspirator

I recently ordered this nasal aspirator because my children are too young to properly blow their noses and I was always wiping their running noses. This helps to clear the nasal passage of all of that icky snot that is constantly keeping them stopped up. My 3 year old does it by himself and loves to see how much snot he can get into the little cup. It is also fairly easy to clean too. I recommend this product for anyone with young children!Buy Graco Nasal Clear Nasel Aspirator!

Graco AirBooster Youth Car Seat in Cafe Brown

I like the booster so far. Though I don't sit on it, I imagine it is quite comfortable. My 3 year old loved moving to the big boy chair. He hadn't sat in it for more than 5 minutes and he had already christened it! If I had gotten a cloth seat of some sort it would have been a big mess. This was the easiest clean-up imaginable. I would recommend also getting a seat protector from Lion Heart. What went straight through the chair was captured by this protector and was so easy to clean up. So, it was nice to know that the chair already paid for itself in ease of operation and clean-up. Along with the seat protector, it saved my leather seats. I imagine it will be considerably less hot in the hot Texas sun as well. A good buy so far. We got two!Buy Graco AirBooster Youth Car Seat in Cafe Brown!

Graco Meal Time Highchair, Betsey

We got this high chair for our son and have been using it since he was about 5 months old; he's now almost 14 months. I've never used the recline feature, and I haven't yet used the raise/lower feature, though I intend to. It's easy to clean, but takes up a lot of space front to back.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the greatest drawback is the mini-tray. I did figure out how to remove it (remove the footrest by turning the chair over and removing the 2 screws that hold it on - and then look up inside and remove the 2 screws that hold on the mini tray), but then you can't clip the larger tray on. So I guess it would be useful if you want to remove the large tray and the mini tray, possibly lower the high chair a little, and pull your baby right up to the table with the rest of the family.

This seems like kind of a silly oversight by Graco. It would have been really, really easy to make that mini-tray removable, and still be able to clip on the large tray. But they didn't. Otherwise, though, this high chair is working really well for us!Buy Graco Meal Time Highchair, Betsey!

Graco Contempo Highchair, Rittenhouse

We are very pleased with the Graco high chair and our daughter loves it. It is easy to keep clean, came with two covers and is very easily adjustable. The removable tray makes it a snap to clean and is very durable. The only negative issue we have seen so far is the wheels are a little squeaky when we roll the chair. Other than that, I would recommend the Graco Contempo chair as a good quality product.Buy Graco Contempo Highchair, Rittenhouse!

Graco Digital Imonitor Mini Baby Monitor in White

After confronting the bewildering array of monitors at a couple of major retail chains, we settled on this model because of the small size of the receiver and the digital technology. We ignored video because a friend had a video model that just seemed too grainy to be of any use, and the signal was really delicate. (Besides, if baby's crying, doesn't matter what you see on the screen, you're walking over there anyway.) We also didn't feel we needed two receiver units since my wife is the only one at home during the day and we take turns with the night feedings anyway. We definitely feel we made the right choice. The teeny receiver is so convenient and we've had no problems with the signal, which we were a little worried about before we bought it, but that's more because of our past experience with various cordless phones and wi-fi routers -- it's always a crap-shoot. We've found that poor reception can be just as much due to the construction of your house, where you place the base station, and the number of other wireless signals in the air as it is the fault of the unit itself. We were relieved to discover that this monitor works perfectly in our circa 2005, 2500 sq ft, two-story house and coexists peacefully with our four-handset 5.8 ghz cordless phone and 2.4 ghz 802.11n wi-fi network (the bases for which are in the same room as the Graco, BTW). We were also surprised at how sensitive the microphone is; it really does pick up every little whimper. The only issue we have is that we had to crank the volume all the way up on the receiver. The charging cradle itself also has a speaker which gives you a volume boost as well, which is helpful and a nice touch. Battery life seems pretty good, and because it's replaceable I'm not worried about burning it out by leaving it in the charging cradle all the time -- I'll just go get another one at Radio Shack if I have to. All in all, we're very satisfied and we definitely recommend it. If the receiver were louder (insert "but it goes to 11" reference here) we'd give it the full five stars.Buy Graco Digital Imonitor Mini Baby Monitor in White!

Graco Quattro Tour Travel System with SnugRide in Marlowe

My wife and I recently had our first child. As her due date approached (Nov 7, 2008) we started shopping around for all the necessary products, including strollers and car seats. Once we settled on getting a travel system (based on various recommendations from friends), we shopped around at local stores for the right one.

We had always heard good things about the Graco name, so we compared the various Graco systems with the more expensive Eddie Bauer versions. This Graco system was clearly lighter than others, but it did not appear to sacrifice quality and durability. So, we settled on Graco.

Well, on October 9 (4 weeks early) my daughter was ready to be born, so I immediately ordered this travel system from Amazon (on my iPhone). We have been using it faithfully since we brought our daughter home a few days later.

The car seat is very well constructed and I feel comfortable that my baby is safe. The stroller is very maneuverable and the rubber wheels roll smoothly on asphalt and concrete. The system is kind of heavy and bulky with the baby in it, but I think that drawback is clearly offset by the convenience of an all-in-one system that will grow with your child and being able to keep your baby in the infant seat when you take him/her out of car.

In general, we are extremely satisfied with this product, and will continue using it when we have our next child.Buy Graco Quattro Tour Travel System with SnugRide in Marlowe!

Graco imonitor Digital Color Video Baby Monitor

We just purchased this video monitor. Overall, I think its fine, but my biggest problem with it is that the quietest setting for the volume is still too loud for me! There should be an option to have just video and no sound. My house is small and I can hear that my baby is crying, so sometimes I just want to watch to see if she's going back to sleep. And, like others have mentioned, there's a two second delay. So when the monitor is on, it sounds like I have two babies crying!! I really wish I could mute it or at least turn the volume way down. I even put tape over the speaker and that doesn't help that much. The other problem I have with it is that it was a little hard to to find a good position for the camera because it didn't point down far enough. My husband and I ended up just taping it to the crib. The good things are that the picture is pretty good (if you get it close enough, the night picture's not bad) and the sound is crystal clear (even though, it's always too loud for me!). I also love how portable it is!Buy Graco imonitor Digital Color Video Baby Monitor!

Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe Travel System with SafeSeat in Imperial

I almost did not buy a travel system because I was looking at a more versatile carseat, but my friends who have children talked me into buying this, and I am so glad they did. My son loves his carseat, he falls asleep in it all the time and I have never had a problem with his head getting cranked to the side like I have seen with some other carseats when the baby falls asleep. He has fit into it just fine, from coming home from the hospital to now, and he is almost 4 months and 16 lbs. It is a little heavy at first, but you get used to it once you get your buff "mom arms." The stroller is solid and had lots of little comparments to put your stuff in, like a sunglasses holder and we use the cup holders everytime. Underneath there is plenty of room for the diaper bag as well as shopping bags. The seat snaps right into the stroller and I honestly don't know what people who say it is not secure are talking about. This has been one of the best purchases I have made, and we couldn't be more happy with it!Buy Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe Travel System with SafeSeat in Imperial!

Graco Baby Einstein Discover & Play Activity Center

My baby is 11 months old and I would say out of all the toys & gadgets purchased for him, this was by far his most favorite & put to use.
We received this as a gift when he was about 5 months old. He started using it shortly afterwards. It has helped him with coordination and muscle control. He started standing up better, and reaching more for the toys around him and was really fascinated by all the toys. He spent much time in this jumperoo. My son needed to be held a lot, and so this was our answer when we didn't want him crying and needed to get things done around the house. It made me feel good to put him in it knowing he was learning, and happily playing. We actually still have it up in the living room even though he's now standing and almost walking. He'll still stand up next to it and play with the toys. It has been an obvious favorite. Have not found any other toy that captivates him as much. Your little one will love it!!! Graco imonitor Vibe 2 Parent

I got this monitor 2 years ago and it worked for a year and half. it worked great!! but by my second child, the batteries are shot, i can't take it more than 20 feet outside, it beeps all the time as if it were out of range, the static is awful from time to time, it loses connection each time i use my phone, and it pretty much just drives me nuts. BUT, on the upside, it is VERY VERY durable! one day it was driving me particularly insane by just beeping away regardless of where i put it downstairs. So in an admittedly immature fit of rage, i chucked it as hard as i could down the basement stairs and onto the concrete floor. now i may not be a softball pitcher, but i have a good arm on me! it flew into pieces. come to find later as i went down to do laundry, it had "broken" without actually breaking! it had just popped apart!! and lo and behold, i put it back together and it works JUST as crappily as it did before!!! but certainly no worse and not a doggone crack on it!! Graco Baby iMonitor Multi Child Multi Room Baby Monitor

With the arrival of our second child, we thought this would be a good idea, but we were wrong. The monitor constantly loses the signal and beeps. The room switch can be set for different times, but never worked right and as others have said, you have to wait to tell which room the noise is from. Forget going to a different floor too as the signal is just too weak. I would recommend buying two single room monitors and changing the frequencies as a better alternative than wasting money on this product.Buy Graco Baby iMonitor Multi Child Multi Room Baby Monitor!

Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Bassinet & Changer in Brentwood

The Graco Pack 'n Play...w/changer in Bancroft 2008 is SO cool! I was able to get it HERE for the best price, and believe me, I'm a comparison shopper!! My daughter wasn't sure she really needed this since she's had kids already and had numerous gifts and gadgets, but it turned out to be one of the lasting, "Oh, I'm SOoo glad you got this, Mom!" gifts! The changer makes it easier on her back, and he sleeps well in the bassinet also. The design is nice, so it doesn't look 'tacky' in the family room where the family normally gathers. The only thing-when the baby gets about 18lbs. or so, the changer can slowly slip down off the bar the cloth of it is over on one side, sort-of dumping them in the bassinet. (it's not a sudden thing). Just be aware when they get bigger. He's a big boy anyway! From day one he's been fascinated with the bear mobile- my daughter just wished it was wind-up or motorized. The sounds and vibrations are cool--all the great stuff! I'd DEFINITELY recommend this to someone else!Buy Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Bassinet & Changer in Brentwood!

I loved this swing from 1st sight as the colors were gorgeous and it had a higher weight limit than most. This all went away the minute I took it out of the box to put it together. Graco SnugRide 32 Infant Car Seat in Zurich

I ordered this carseat for my baby when I was expecting because it just seemed the smart thing to do with babies coming into this world at 8+ lbs and 19"+ long! Well our little boy came into this world weighing 7.06 lbs and measuring 20" long! Most rear facing carseats only go up to 22 lbs and 22" long, so this was definitely a wise choice. He's only 13 days old and we have used the carseat on 3 occassions and so far so good! It's spacious enough so that he doesn't feel cramped or confined once buckled in. The downfall to that is that his head bobs a bit too much for me because the infant insert is still a little too big. We purchased an additional head support piece (not Graco) to resolve this issue. It works well... He was awake when he was placed in it the second time and he cried a bit but calmed down after he was all tucked in. The other times he was asleep and remained sleeping... The carrier is easy enough to remove from the base which is a huge plus. The colors are rich looking with a baby feel (the green), and can work for either boy or girl (I didn't know what I was having when I ordered it)...The straps are easy enough to adjust once you read the instructions. To date the carrier is not too heavy, but that may change once he puts on some pounds... Overall I love this carseat so far... If that changes I'll add to this later on.Buy Graco SnugRide 32 Infant Car Seat in Zurich!

I purchased this swing after much research. However, I didn't assemble it until closer to the time when baby was due (I didn't want a ton of baby gear piled around but wanted to space out my purchases). When I started to unpack and assemble the swing, it was clear that someone else had returned it. It was missing some toys and non-essential parts and had not been completely disassembled prior to repacking.

I wondered why it has been returned until I had it all put together and discovered that it has a horrible creaking problem. The more weight you add the the swing, the more it creeks. You can actually hear it all the way upstairs. This won't work. I will go insane and no baby would be able to tolerate it.

I was going to return it, but it's a week or so past the return deadline so I would have to pay up to 50% restocking fee and all shipping fees.

Great. I should have assembled it earlier (but I've been sick for five weeks). Now I'm stuck with a horrible product and can't return it.

After doing a lot of research to find an affordable, lightweight stroller with the "perks" of a bigger stroller, we bought this stroller and are very happy with our choice. It folds up very nicely and I love that it reclines allowing our 13 month old to nap if he wants. The basket is huge and I love that you can still get to your diaper bag even when the seat is reclined. I definitely recommend this stroller! It's GREAT! :)Buy Graco LiteRider Stroller in Tango in the Tongo!

Graco Ultra Clear II 49mhz Baby Monitor

My wife and I bought this monitor for our newborn son's bedroom, and we are highly disappointed for a few reasons:

1. Excessive Static: We live in a new 3-level home (lower/main/upper), and we found that both channels offered on this receiver have too much static. What's worse is that sometimes the static gets even louder and more annoying than the constant buzzing static we hear the rest of the time. The louder static usually comes from walking too closely to certain electrical fixtures, such as our fluorescent torchiere lamp. Other times, however, the louder static comes simply from the handset being in a bad location. We move it a couple of feet in a different direction, and the loud static becomes quiet static. Any way you cut it, there is too much static for our liking.

2. Battery Hogs: The one handset that works on batteries (the second handset arrived broken, and it works only with the A/C adapter plugged into the wall) uses them up way too quickly. With just a few days of usage (several hours of usage each day), the handset completely drains brand new Energizer batteries (4 AAA batteries required). I tried rechargeable batteries, and they lasted ONE DAY! With such poor battery life, this monitor should have come with an A/C adapter for BOTH handsets. Instead, it came with just one.

3. Broken on Arrival: Only one of our handsets worked on batteries when we first opened the box. Therefore, the other handset always needs to be plugged into the wall, which is highly inconvenient. That said, the mobile handset burns through batteries way too fast (see #2 above).

Even for the price, I think this monitor is a poor value. I would not recommend it to anybody. I have done a lot of research, and I have decided to return this monitor to Amazon and purchase the Sony 900MHz BabyCall Nursery Monitor with 2 Receivers. It gets excellent reviews. In addition, it has 27 channels (as opposed to 2), built-in rechargeable batteries in both handsets, and 2 A/C adapters as standard equipment.Buy Graco Ultra Clear II 49mhz Baby Monitor!

Graco Lovin' Hug Open Top Swing in Bancroft

We just got this swing a couple of days ago. It looks like it would be really great if it worked properly. The motor just makes grinding noises for awhile and then stops even that after a couple of minutes. (yes, I have pushed the swing to help the motor get started, didn't work). I've been desperate enough for a swing that I have been just swinging it by hand and coming back to swing it again every-once-in-while. At least the swinging bars are balanced so that it will continue to swing for a little while. I think it might just be a bad motor so I'm going to contact Graco to see if they will replace it.
I will try to update this review if anything comes of my contact with Graco.Buy Graco Lovin' Hug Open Top Swing in Bancroft!

Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe Travel System in Townsend

I love this travel system! My husband picked out the colors, and I wasnt sure at first but when it arrived, i fell in love. I love the material and its very easy to assemble. Not sure what the other review was referring to but this is brown and turquoise...very lovely! Turns very easily and the push bar is high enough that we dont have to slouch (I am 5'9" and my husband is 6'0). That is a first for us! Overall, very impressed with this item...Buy Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe Travel System in Townsend!
