Graco Quattro Tour Duo Stroller - Gianni

I received this as a gift when I was pregnant with my 2nd. I have a 2 year old and an infant now. I have to agree with the other review - it can be very difficult to set this stroller up. It is heavy and you have to have a system in place to get it in and out of the car. I have to line it up parallel with my minivan trunk and then lift it up and put it in the same parallel position. It can be very difficult to manuever once you have lifted it into the trunk. It just barely fits sideways in my trunk. Same story here with getting my infant into the rear seat. You have to always recline the back seat first which was tricky at first but now I am used to it. Then you have to tip the infant seat in a weird way to get it to lock into the seat. The front wheels lock in a straight position each time and the back brake goes on each time you fold it up. I'm used to all those weird features now.

BROKEN HANDLES - we just flew to FL last week and the stroller didn't make it through the gate check in process without breaking. BOTH handles broke off completely when they gave me my stroller back at the gate. I'm about to start my research on how I get replacement handles - I'll be sure to edit my review based on what I hear back from Graco.

I did a lot of research before suggesting this stroller and it does get great reviews. I'm not sure what went wrong here...Buy Graco Quattro Tour Duo Stroller - Gianni!

Graco ComfortSport Convertible Car Seat in Wheaton

Graco has made some improvements since we bought a ComfortSport for my husband's car 2 years ago. I ordered this one for my mom - she liked it because it matched the interior of her new car. I think so far she likes it. The adjustments were a little tricky, but installation very simple. I personally like my Britax better, but for a grandparent or second vehicle, this one is great. Much much much better than the Eddie Bauer 3-in-1!!!Buy Graco ComfortSport Convertible Car Seat in Wheaton!

Cleo Single Stroller - Truffle

I just purchased this stroller, and my husband and I both love it. I also own a Pliko P3, but had a few things I didnt like about it. Well I was worried I would be missing out on some of its features in switching to this one such as the very large hood, but it has that as well as the adjusting legrest (great for little babes). This stroller is sleek, compact and everything I expect from a Graco. You will not be disappointed. I will be back with more after more use (just got it today). :)Buy Cleo Single Stroller - Truffle!

Graco Traveling Potty Seat

My 3 yr old daughter is finally potty trained. However, she is still scared of public toilets. We bought this seat to help her feel less afraid of "falling in." I havent' had any issues with pinching like I read in other reviews. The reasons I gave it 4 stars: 1. It is sturdy, but bulky when folded 2. mine didn't come with a travel baggie like it was supposed to. Overall, I think it is a good investment. We use it everytime we're out, and when she stays at Grandma's house.Buy Graco Traveling Potty Seat!

Graco Travel Lite Bouncer in Central Park

I bought this bouncer to match my carseat. I thought that the portable feature would make it worth the xtra money but i was wrong. My biggest issue with it is that it is at a much higher angle than most bouncers so a newborn can not sit comfortably in it. They start to slide to one side because they cant sit up that well. By the time the baby is old enough to sit comfortable in it they weight to much to sit in it because it only holds up to eighteen lbs. My son screamed evey time i put him in it. I had better luck just putting him on the floor on a blanket when i traveled. The other issue i have with it is the toy bar does not stay on tight it fell off every time i bumped into it. If my son actually liked it it would have fallen right on top of him the first time he kicked the toy bar. Your better off buying a portable swing if your looking for portability. My son loves the Fisher Price - Lil Laugh N Learn Bouncer It has lights and plays actual songs i've been using it since i came home from the hospital.

Graco SnugRide Adjustable Base - Tan

We went with the Graco Snugride because it received good safety ratings and fit our budget. Our newborn son fit nicely in it and seemed secure - the first few times. After the first couple of months I started to notice some definite drawbacks:
1) It is NOT particularly lightweight, and even though my son was a smaller baby, it still got really heavy really fast. After about 3mos. I refused to use it anymore. We put it in hubby's car and I put the convertible seat in mine.
2) The straps adjust from behind, and they are the kind that need to be threaded individually. So, if the season changes (or you just live in a variable region like we do) you'll find yourself fighting with it every time your child wears anything heavier than a onesie. THEN you have to re-thread again on the next warm (lighter clothes) day. And trust me - trying to adjust those things when you're in a hurry to be somewhere will frazzle your nerves in no time!
3) The handle was not very steady. What I mean is, these seats are pushed and pulled constantly, usually at a sideways angle in and out of the car or at your hip. I found that after just a few trips, the handle felt loose and would rock a little from side to side, and even back & forth slightly when supposedly locked in place.
4) Last thing, but definitely my biggest concern. The anchor strap slips! You don't notice it the first few times, and you probably won't ever notice it unless you ride in the back seat or test it occasionally. Because it was in my husband's car, we didn't notice it at first. Then I rode back there one day and found that the base was sliding like crazy - the BASE! The strap (it was the LATCH strap) had gradually gotten looser and looser, even though we used a towel to even out the seat (as recommended) and pulled the strap as tight as humanly possible. We fixed it, then found that several weeks later it was loose again!
I would accept that the loose strap thing was a fluke of this particular seat (since I've never heard anybody else complain of it), but taken as a whole we will NOT be using this seat again. Go with Britax or Chicco!Buy Graco SnugRide Adjustable Base - Tan!

Graco TurboBooster Car Seat - Hearts Delight

My 3 ½ year old was ready for a "big girl car seat," so my husband and I did our research. After reading everything we could find on the subject, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the GRACO TURBOBOOSTER CAR SEAT is not only one of the highest rated by Consumer Reports, it also is very reasonably priced! And to top it off, it is available in a wide range of colors, which allowed my wee one to pick exactly the car seat she wanted.

The GRACO TURBOBOOSTER CAR SEAT is actually two booster seats in one: a high-backed booster seat for kids three years old and at least 38 inches and 30 pounds, and a backless booster for kids 4 to 10 years old and at least 40 inches and 40 pounds. It is very easy to convert between the two modes, and the convertible feature adds to the over all value by extending the life of your purchase.

The GRACO TURBOBOOSTER CAR SEAT has many great safety features including a height adjustable head support that grows with your child, a seat belt guide that properly positions the car seat belt on your child's shoulder, and an EPS energy absorbing foam liner. The seat also has a number of convenience features such as padded, height adjustable armrests, hide away cup holders, two reclining positions, and a seat cover that is easily removed for machine washing.

The GRACO TURBOBOOSTER CAR SEAT assembles effortlessly and is a snap to install. Your car's seat belt locks the seat into place; there is very little movement once my daughter is properly strapped in. The seat is apparently very comfortable; my daughter falls asleep quite easily, and maintains an upright position. The padded head positioner, which looks like the "wings" on a wing chair, keeps her from slumping. Overall, if you follow the age, height, and weight guidelines, follow the installation instructions, and check the proper positioning and tightness of the seat belt EVERY TIME you buckle your child in, your big kid will be safe and comfortable.

Of course, in my daughter's eyes, the best part was getting to choose the color herself. She chose HEARTS DELIGHT - very pink and covered in hearts with crowns, princesses, and other fun, totally girly things. She loves it, and is very proud that she got to pick it out. Safe, comfy, and happy...what more could you ask for? Buy Graco TurboBooster Car Seat - Hearts Delight!

Fisher-Price Bath Center - Aquarium Ocean Wonders

I thought the sling on this bathtub would be great for my newborn. My baby hates it. The sling sags (Baby is 8 lbs) and the bump in the middle of the tub digs into his back. I always wet the sling with warm water before I put him in but by the time I get him into the tub it is cold already. Overall this just doesn't work for my baby. I bought a cheap sponge mat that works for now. I'll try the other functions of the bathtub as my son gets older. Buy Fisher-Price Bath Center - Aquarium Ocean Wonders!

UPPAbaby Vista Stroller, Red Denny

I spent LOTS of time reading reviews and trying out strollers in stores, in order to find a great stroller. I don't normally post reviews, but spent so much time on this decision (which I'm very happy with), that I thought I should share my experience. My 2009 Uppa just came yesterday; even though I haven't had it very long, I'm already in love! I live in an urban area and wanted a stroller that I could take everywhere--walks to the store, on errands, etc. and hold up on city streets. It was also important to me to have one that has a rear-facing possibility, as recent studies have suggested that this is important for language development.

I'm 7 months pregnant and it was very easy to put together--all of the parts just snapped in, so I didn't have any trouble figuring out whether I was doing it correctly, or tightening screws well enough. The instructions had detailed photos and were very easy to follow.

I knew the storage basket was big, but it's even bigger than I had remembered. Very accessible too. The stroller converts very easily between the bassinet seat (which I think I may use as an actual bassinet when baby is little) and the toddler seat (which can face either direction). A red indicator turns green when you've successfully snapped the seat in, too, for further peace of mind.

At first, I couldn't figure out how to fold the stroller, but once I figured it out, it's very easy. The only trouble is that there's no good place to hold it once it's folded. I don't plan on having to carry it folded very often, as I walk just about everywhere and won't need to take it in and out of my trunk very often.

I also seriously considered the Peg Perego Skate and the Uppa Vista 2008 strollers. In the end, the Skate was just too heavy. Also, I like the convenience of an actual basket, rather than worrying about tying down groceries with a bungee cord. Finally, the bassinet liner to the skate isn't included and the actual seat lining isn't machine washable (unlike the uppa). The 2008 uppa was a close second for me, but I liked the added features of the 09 model (especially the spf popout sun canopy, which is gigantic and wonderful) and the soft organic bedding in the bassinet. I also like having the possibility of adding a rumble seat to the uppa down the road, to get more years out of it.

I think I've finally found the perfect urban stroller!Buy UPPAbaby Vista Stroller, Red Denny!

Graco Pack 'n Play Playard Quilted Sheet - Navy

This is a great padded sheet for the Graco Pack-n-play. I often think that the board/mattress on these things are too hard for little ones to sleep solidly in for long periods. My little guys slept great with this quilted sheet whenever we travelled. It feels so soft, washes really well...no shrinkage, no fading, just a perfect fit.

As a personal tip: If you are using a Pack-n-Play in a cold climate, I found that using this pad helps insulate the child a bit better and if you need to, you can still put an even softer flannel-type sheet over the top of this for really great results.

Oh, and don't worry about using this in a warm or humid climate. It is perfect. Used this in Hawaii and in the desert...it kept the baby cool. Gotta love cotton. Buy Graco Pack 'n Play Playard Quilted Sheet - Navy!

Graco 1.5 Gallon Cool Mist Humidifier

As a child growing up, I always had the impeller type humidifiers in which a spinning tube would draw water inside of it and then toss it out in a visible mist. While these could be quite effective, they had the drawback of being loud and soaking everything around them.

When my daughter was born, we got an ultrasonic humidifier. The mist was a little finer, but again, it had the tendency to soak everything around it, and created scale on itself and its surroundings with tap water.

So this time I decided to go with the evaporative type of humidifier. With these, a fan draws moisture out of a wick filter that is then disbursed about the room. These types of humidifiers have the advantage of being self-regulating because evaporation is quicker in a dry room, slower in a moist room. They also trap the minerals and bacteria that may be in the water in the filter instead of spraying them in the room. The disadvantages are that they require costly filters, and you have to treat the water to keep bacteria, mold, and scale from building up on the filter and components. Both of these can be achieved with the addition of a few drops of humidifier treatments that can be found at your local Wal-Mart.

With all this in mind, I did lots of comparison shopping and finally turned to the Graco 1.5 Gallon Cool Mist Humidifier. This compact unit appears to be much more durable than other brands at a similar price point, and since its components are dishwasher safe, it is much easier to give it a thorough cleaning. Although the unit could be considered loud, especially on its high setting, the low setting is quite pleasant to me, and provides a nice white noise to counteract background sounds. Most importantly, it does a good job of raising the humidity into comfortable levels during the winter. And with the water appropriately treated, there is NO mold on my filter and minimal mineral deposits.

Note: this is advertised as a "baby" humidifier, but its shape and design fit as well as any other humidifier in any room of your house. We bought two. One for our bedroom, the other for my daughter. Buy Graco 1.5 Gallon Cool Mist Humidifier!

Graco Swing 'N Bounce 3-in-1 Infant Swing in Jungle Crew

We bought this swing when our daughter was 6 weeks old. A vigorous kid already, she likes to be bounced and jostled around quite a bit, and we ordered the thing to help our aching arms and thighs. When we received the swing in the mail, we were so excited to set it up and see what her reaction would be.

Well, construction went just fine- the directions are clear and the whole thing comes together in about a half hour. However, when we put her in, it was pretty lame. The swing didn't go very high at all, and you'd think with six different speeds that it would fairly well satisfy the full range of need in babies. I decided to call Graco to see if anyone else had had this issue and if possibly our motor was defective. They were very polite and immediately sent us a new motor piece. Unfortunately, even with the new piece the swinging was about the same and our girl quickly grew bored with the low momentum.

So, back to the title, if you have a baby who is more 'easy listening' than '80's pop', this is the swing for you! If not, check out the side-to-side swings, as they seem to be a bit more vigorous in their motions. We replaced ours with a model of this sort and she's been a happy girl!Buy Graco Swing 'N Bounce 3-in-1 Infant Swing in Jungle Crew!

Graco Air Purifier

This is one of few purifiers to actually move the air in one direction. Most purifiers expel air on both sides, this one doesn't. It expels air to one side creating a better filtering effect allowing the air to circulate.
I had also previously purchased a Honeywell Purifier that was supposed to be very effective but really wasn't. The filter on it was so porous I really couldn't find anything else to use it for except for a fan.
This purifier is great. It is small, has quiet but yet still effective air purifying abilities and also has the ability to be turned up to a high level which still doesn't make a lot of noise because it has the cylindrical fans(like most purifiers) as apposed to the blades.
This product might have been designed for babies but it works too well to solely be used for their rooms. I have mine near all of my electronic equipment to expand their lifespans.
You really can't get a better filter for this price.
p.s. Do not let the low price discourage you, this product could definitely have been sold at a higher price and still have made a nice profit for GRACO

Graco DuoRider Stroller in Abbington

I purchased this stroller specifically b/c we were going to Disney World with 4 children, and we needed a stroller that was comfortable for my 9 month old and 2 yr old that was lightweight enough to go on the tram cars from the Disney parking lot. This stroller was perfect for that. My husband says I should start my own stroller store, I have tried so many different ones. This did the job needed. A few things that would make it better: snack trays instead of just the cushioned bar, a way for the pads to stay attached better (they slide down a lot); and even thought the steering was okay, it would be better if both the back and front wheels could swivel (only the front ones do.)
Overall, I was very satisfied. With a few improvements, it would be perfect.Buy Graco DuoRider Stroller in Abbington!

Gogo Babyz Infant Cruizer Car Seat Travel System (for Graco)

The handle IS pretty flimsy, but we haven't found it to be a major problem. We don't use this all the time (the carrier fits into a larger stroller), but when there's not a lot of space in the car or for getting quickly to and from someplace where there are no shopping carts and a full-size stroller would be a problem (the airport, for instance), it comes in VERY handy. It probably shouldn't replace a regular stroller, but it's convenient as a supplement and we definitely use ours.

Be prepared to have people ask you about it, though. It stands out and people want to know where you got it, what it is, etc.

Update - 12/22/08

I just got back from visiting family across the country and using the Cruizer as my son's only stroller. It worked really well. I took him shopping, to Disneyland, and through three different airports. The handle wasn't a problem, and the Cruizer was really easy to maneuver in crowds and around tight corners. I was once again asked about it over and over and people would point out the strange little stroller as we went by. The smallness of it seemed to be the appeal. My favorite comment at Disneyland was "Check out the little dude!" As for my son, he had a blast leaning back in his familiar carseat, taking it all in.Buy Gogo Babyz Infant Cruizer Car Seat Travel System (for Graco)!

I bought this stroller for my sister in law after having used a different Graco stroller for over 2 years. If you are looking for a daily use, taking the baby for a walk around the neighborhood or for shopping stroller, this is it!
Pros: biggest size of storage basket you can find, 3 cup holders, 1 snack food holder, 1 hand fold, very sturdy on any surface, reclines. Not too heavy comparing with other full size stroller.
Cons: A litte wide in size if you live in the city center. Size is not airport travel friendly.

Graco Lauren 4-in-1 Dropside Convertible Crib - White

Put simply, these convertible cribs are marketed as something they are not. You cannot later convert the crib into a working child bed...without going out and buying a metal bed frame, and box spring. You don't find this out until you purchase the crib. A better title would be "crib which also becomes a headboard only. Even that is laughable -- who has headboards on children's beds? This is a savvy marketing trick, to say "Hey, call it convertible and people will buy ours over another crib -- except one side of the crib will become a headboard and they'll have to go purchase the actual bed frame and everything else.

The crib, as far as it goes, is great. The product as advertised, is not.Buy Graco Lauren 4-in-1 Dropside Convertible Crib - White!

Graco Digital Deluxe iMonitor Baby Monitor

Nothing irks me more than this supposed "baby monitor". Because isn't the point of a baby monitor to monitor babies? Not to work sometimes, if the moon and stars are aligned perfectly, and work only when it feels like working. Not to beep endlessly and flip channels until I want to pull my hair out and throw the thing against the wall, not necessarily in that order.

Now when this monitor works, it works well - it picks up every little sound clearly and I can hear my babies the instant they wake up. I rarely hear static. Despite other reviews, it has a long battery life (7-8 hours). I have twins, and set up this monitor in two different rooms so that I can hear the babies whether they are napping together or separately. I rarely remove the receivers from their battery chargers; they just sit in my office where I'm working, which is incidentally 15 feet from either baby. Since nothing moves, you'd think I'd only have to set it up once and be done, yes?

Not even close. What usually happens is one of two things:

One, it will lose a frequency and search for a signal. It does this whether I'm on the other end of the house or in the next room. It loses a signal at least twice per day. Then it starts endlessly beeping, during which I begin to imagine drop-kicking this monitor across several blocks and into the freeway, where it gets run over again and again by a convoy of tractor trailers.

Two, it will flip channels so that it's suddenly monitoring the same room as the other device, and now one baby is out of communication. It doesn't matter that the switch is set to "room 2", because it's now monitoring room 1. I have no warning this has happened, no beeps or even a flashing light, so unless I'm within earshot and hear her crying, that baby is out of luck should she need attention. This happens at least once every other day, so I simply don't go out of earshot anymore. To which I wonder, why have a baby monitor at all? It's only out of morbid curiosity I keep it plugged in.

I will try to reset the frequency (which you do by clicking buttons which also beep maddeningly) but usually this doesn't work, and it continues to beep. I am actually surprised this monitor hasn't yet been embedded in my wall.

Maybe today will be the day.Buy Graco Digital Deluxe iMonitor Baby Monitor!

This swing is horrible. It took around an hour to put it together because the directions were so bad. It was easier to look at the box than use the directions. Graco Pack 'n Play Sheet White

This is one of the most cheaply made products I have ever seen. As other reviews have mentioned, they are so thin you can see right through them. They are also not well designed. My little ones do not stay perfectly still when they sleep. Unfortunately, pretty much any movement by the kids and the long sides come up over the pad.

I found some fitted sheets that actually stay on at [...]. The mom hand makes them, and she actually went out of her way to find a fabric that I liked. They are soft, stylish, and affordable. This is the cheapest replacement filter for our Hamilton Beach humidifier that I found. My only complaint(s) is that it does not say how often to change these filters nor does the packaging offer any advice on how to extend the life of these filters. Graco Ionic Diaper Bag

The bag itself is great. Lots of space, not too bulky. However I was very disappointed in the color. In the picture, the flap on the second, smaller bag appears to be silver and match the light blue color well. When I received it , the flap is actually a greenish, goldish, brownish color...not attractive at all and definitely not a good combination with the light blue. I ended up turning the smaller bag around so you can't see the flap, but then of course it makes it more difficult to access. Functionally it is exactly what I was looking for but I wish it was more aesthetically pleasing. Buy Graco Ionic Diaper Bag!

Graco Mosaic Stroller in Ionic

****The Graco Mosaic Stroller in Ionic, is really a great stroller! I am 6' tall and my husband 6'4" and the handles are the perfect height for us. My mom who is 5'4" loved the position of the handles too, very comfortable! I also just flew for the first time with my 8 week old daughter and we brought the stroller, it was perfect. Light weight, folds up neatly, and you can collapse it with one hand (other hand holding the baby!) It was easy to put together when it arrived (5 minutes and done). The color is great too, I have the matching car seat and it fits in nicely onto the stroller (its very secure). I recommend this stroller to anyone who is searching for one. I researched a lot of strollers and carseats and found this set to be wonderful!!! ****Buy Graco Mosaic Stroller in Ionic!

Graco Sarah 4 in 1 Convertible Crib - White

This crib was the worst thing I have ever purchased. In a pinch, after the original crib I had order didn't make it in time, I went and bought the Sarah crib by Graco. It felt very flimsy, it wasn't easy to put together and the plastic pieces for the side rail broke off at the bottom. After only two months of my grand daughter being in the crib, the screws AND screw housing came out of the crib. I walked into her room to find her putting the screw into her mouth. The lowest setting of the crib mattress was also not low enough, and if my grand daughter were to stand on her tippy toes and lean forward, she could fall out! Add to the fact that the plastic piece broke so that one side of the crib was lower and not secure, and you have a recipe for disaster. I wouldn't even GIVE this crib away! The finish on the crib began to wear away and the knots in the wood began to crack. Because the crib was white, you could see the white becoming discolored around where the knots were.

Don't buy this crib!Buy Graco Sarah 4 in 1 Convertible Crib - White  !

Graco ComfortSport Convertible Car Seat in Halee

We were not that confident with this car seat. Using it rear facing, it does not seem as sturdy as our old Graco infant seat. The fact you have to roll up a towel to level it doesn't make sense and we had to purchase a new headrest to make more comfortable, luckily because I just read in a review that the headrest was recalled. We usually like and trust Graco, but this seat has not been up to their usual standard. We will probably buy the more expensive Graco seat with better reviews, and lose money on restocking fee.Buy Graco ComfortSport Convertible Car Seat in Halee!

Graco Lovin Hug Easy Entry Open Top Swing Bancroft

Takes way too long to strap my crying baby into the 5-point harness. Just makes things worse.

Then if the swing does manage to put him asleep, opening the swing results in a thud that always startles and wakes up the little guy.

I'm disappointed.

We found a different swing that is smaller and easier to use. Buy Graco Lovin Hug Easy Entry Open Top Swing Bancroft!
